Nag a ram9/13/2023 Better BGM could have helped a few scenes. The songs are pretty bad, and the background score is also not that great. It was surprising to see such mediocre work from the great Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja. The flashback portion is regular and doesn’t have any exciting stuff. Sarath Kumar is seen in a been-there-done-that kind of a role that fails to amuse. It was said that every character in the film would have some significance, but the way Priyamani’s character is presented is disappointing. Neither the action elements click nor there is entertainment in the second half to keep the audience engaged. ![]() The film falls flat both in terms of story and execution. There was more emphasis on the action part, but that didn’t add any impact to the film, especially in the second hour. Custody will be among Venkat Prabhu’s weakest works. But after a point, one would doubt if Custody is indeed his film or not. Though the story doesn’t have enough meat, there were solid expectations on Venkat Prabhu, who is known for his intriguing screenplays. Goparaju Ramana and Vennela Kishore provide entertainment with their witty punches and antics. Krithi Shetty is good in her character, and she does what was expected of her. The handsome actor’s charisma is still intact. The comedy touch given to his character evokes a few laughs. He tries to hold the film together with his earnest performance.Īrvind Swami is the right fit for Raju’s role, and a few scenes between him, Chaitanya, and Krithi Shetty are good. Chaitanya was also good in the action sequences, and he makes a mark in the police station fight. He has put in a lot of effort to look lean, and there is sincerity in his performance. Naga Chaitanya gets in the shoes of an underdog character pretty well. Did Shiva succeed in his attempt? What challenges did Shiva undergo to protect the truth? This forms the crux of the story. Determined, Shiva chooses to produce Raju in the court and starts fighting against all odds. But Raju has the support of CM Dakshyani (Priyamani) and the entire government. Shiva learns through the CBI officer that Raju needs to be produced in Bengaluru court. One day, Shiva arrests gangster Raju (Arvind Swami) and a CBI officer George (Sampath) accidentally. The girl’s parents do not approve of their love. ![]() Custody has hit the big screens today, and let’s see how it is.Ĭonstable Shiva (Naga Chaitanya), a small-town guy, is deeply in love with Revathi (Krithi Shetty). Krithi Shetty has played the female lead in the movie. This Telugu – Tamil bilingual is carrying good expectations thanks to its solid promotional material.
